This is a good value for a 2TB drive and seems well made. I had trouble registering it with Western Digital (owner of SanDisk) because their form does not recognize this Best Buy version (apparently) but I emailed the company and they registered it for me. I would also urge anyone who buys. this or similar product to check for firmware updates. Some of these had an issue where they would just randomly disconnect while still connected via the cable. Western Digital has a firmware fix for the problem. I like how portable this is but dislike that it doesn't have enough heft to sit flat when connected. The drive is so lightweight that the mere fact that you attack the cable means it will not sit flat on the desk. I also don't like the absence of an indicator light to suggest when it is powered. (Prior experience with external drives is that these lights are useful for troubleshooting if and when they eventually become disconnected or stop working properly.) I would have liked to buy this in another color but strangely the other colors cost more. (Seriously?) All in all, this is a good value and highly portable. It just irks me that once connected it refuses to sit flat on a desk!

Small, very small. This thing transfers fast and I used it to store all my family photos and videos. I also backed up documents and took pictures of my kids’ art and projects from school. This thing is awesome.

Works well on Mac for backups after reformat. Pretty fast but for backups definitely slower than advertised. Not sure if that is on its end or the macs, but it still did 250 gigabytes in about an hour or two. A little pricier than some with similar storage capacity, but this one is faster and smaller than most ssds out their for this price.

This SSD performs great with very fast data transfer. I also love how small it is for 2 TB . I would recommend this for anyone needing extra storage at a good price.

Was looking for something portable, small and light and seen this drive on sale so decided to take a chance and order it… Wow let me tell you if you want a SSD drive with all those specs and super fast, this is it. Love it.

Small, light, responsive, purchased for backup while traveling. Good value when on sale. As with HDDs, I would not rely on SSDs for keeping the sole copy of data.

Incredibly lightweight and small. Very fast for - using if for Apple Time Machine backups on a MacBook Air. So much faster than previous hard drives.

Great for storage and fast enough to fun and store games or movies on. Slim design and durable for travel. I take mine everywhere while traveling for work.

Fast and so far reliable. Price was great on the 2T model. Glad I purchased this, the color also makes it stand out to find it easy since its very portable.

OF Course I do backup my personal files (including SLR Photography efforts), and keep that in case anything happens (I have had hard drives fail before). The price was excellent (given the sale price), and this SSD is quite a bit SMALLER than the previous hard drives, which makes it far more convenient). I like the hole (which I use to put it on a lanyard when I am out and about doing my photography (backing up my SD Cards when they are full), and this helps tremendously. All in all, a good purchase for my purposes, and it easily connects to my laptop so that I can process any photographs I backed up easily enough.

Fast speeds and large storage for a portable SSD drive. Runs a little hot, but it's not like I'm constantly touching it while it's plugged into the computer.

Size is smaller than what I thought, which made it better for me since I hate bulky items. Super fast speeds. Copied about 150GB of pictures and videos from my laptop in a matter of minutes

Great item! 2TB Really cleaned up space on my five year old laptop. A lot of old data, pictures and apps was easy to add to SanDisk external SSD.
