Work great at a decent price.

It needs a higher powered power source. I attempted to backup one video at a time and photo at a time using the 35 watts apple usb c plug. Worked fine. Then attempted to backup several files at a time, the message popped it needed higher power. If the manual or disclaimer had that info of higher power source required I would give it a 5 star.

The crucial point to remember is that the sender also needs the capability to produce data at a rate of 1 terabyte per second which is common for any hard disk.

I use both consoles, one on the road and one at home. I am able to bring ps4 games which are playable from the hdd. And backuup games i havent played yet.

We were running out of memory on the MacBook and the software (Photoshop) needed more memory for their "scratch disk". It works perfect. Since it is SSD, there is now sound coming from the unit. It just hangs out and does it's job. I would recommend it to anyone needing more memory. BTW, I tried a flash drive to use as the "scratch disk" and it didn't work.

But there were no instructions at all on how to use it, and even their website has nothing. I want to use it as a total system backup for a windows laptop, and I’m still not sure how to do that. I’m not a techie, so it’s pretty frustrating.

Definitely a must have. You should move on from magnetic hard disks to solid state hard disks like these if you want your data to be safe.
