Easy to use and extremely fast. Easily portable and solid state so more reliable. Highly recommend though more expensive.

Delighted thus far with this drive. It’s fairly quick and about the size of a deck of cards. Slowly trying to go all solid state drives but the prices seem to be following inflation (don’t get me started!). If you watch for sales at Best Buy & Amazon you can find “T” capacity at a somewhat affordable price. I hope that they come down in the future. This drive has replace my 3T drive taking up at least 6X the space. Running Win10 and looking forward to the reliability I expect it will give me as a backup. I will re-review if I have issues.

This is smaller than i had thought. Having said that, it is incredible! The speed, convenience, portability and huge storage make this an amazing SSD!

Super small in outer shell and nice storage , but useful for people like me, that need to store their pictures and make a back up for the info on the computer. I saw people complaining it get hot, but this is not inside disc with the fans and you can not use it to upgrade your computer and play games from it.This is just a bigger “ usb flash drive” to back up your info

Very compact size with extra large storage capacity. Has a handy eyelet for attaching a safety lanyard and is exactly what I was looking for to store my family photos.

My wife uses these to store photos for her photography business. The hard drive offers very fast data transfer, is reliable, and is very portable due to its size.

It's very light and smaller than I expected. Very fast speeds and powerful. I bought the Extreme Pro 2TB, but the Extreme 2TB was fast enough for my needs. Using it to run Ubuntu on it. Just keep in mind it may only last for about a year and you'll need to think about backing up and restoring your data before that happens. But so far it's working great. Highly recommended.

Good portable SSD drive. Great speed and the size is good. Can run a little warm when under load but nothing to be worried about.

This 2 TB drive is excellent! It is small, light, fast, and reliable. This is excellent for travel when size and weight matters, as in international travel. The 2 TB version is faster than my 500 MB versions, so I can quickly do photography post processing with Lightroom directly on the drive with no lag time. My images are >= 45 MB each in raw.

Excellent drive. I am using to upload my weekly TV interviews and it is very user friendly and very small with a large memory. A bit on the expensive side.

I own one of the SanDisk Extreme Portable 2TB SSDs and two of the Samsung T7 2TB SSDs. The SanDisk is larger in physical size, but offers more physical protection from dropping and includes a loop to attach a clip for people on the go. Both offer similar performance characteristics. I like and use both manufacturers' products for backing up my systems. Their small size makes them easy to store. Their fast speeds make the backups go quickly.

SanDisk 2GB Extreme PortABLE USB-C NvMe SSD DRIVE is a good portable high density choice with rugged enclosure and convenient size for portability to take with you all the time. These SSD's are great backup and computer to computer transfer devices that are a main tool for regular computer users. The price under $200 is great for this size and performance. The only downside is the use of NVMe chips inside instead of conventional solid state memory chips. The NVMe offer high speed since they are designed to be used inside computers for hard drives; however, they are themselfs sensitive to temperature and physical handling so these drives need to be kept in protective cases when not in use. Also, when using do not keep it in a case or location that will not provide cooling as they may overheat damaging the drive. I invested in a hardshell very small zip case designed for these SSD devices and keep it in my briefcase to go everywhere I go. I recommend this as a top quality brand using these NVMe chips as portable drives. I have purchased aftermarket NVMe chip enclosures to make my own portable drive but decided to keep these at home knowing that these may die in portable use.
