I own one of the SanDisk Extreme Portable 2TB SSDs and two of the Samsung T7 2TB SSDs. The SanDisk is larger in physical size, but offers more physical protection from dropping and includes a loop to attach a clip for people on the go. Both offer similar performance characteristics. I like and use both manufacturers' products for backing up my systems. Their small size makes them easy to store. Their fast speeds make the backups go quickly.

Very compact size with extra large storage capacity. Has a handy eyelet for attaching a safety lanyard and is exactly what I was looking for to store my family photos.

The speed of this drive is amazing. The speed, dust resistant, and water resistant is very reassuring. 2TB storage is average with today's standards for an external storage from what I have seen. This storage unit is very sturdy built and has a stylish design compared to other units. I would recommend this storage unit for people that mostly use external storage on the go.

The 2 TB was the best choice for me because I was actually putting a significant amount of data on this drive and editing it on my laptop. It was fast, reliable, and did the job without issues. "If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it," meaning, use what works and gives you good results.

SanDisk 2GB Extreme PortABLE USB-C NvMe SSD DRIVE is a good portable high density choice with rugged enclosure and convenient size for portability to take with you all the time. These SSD's are great backup and computer to computer transfer devices that are a main tool for regular computer users. The price under $200 is great for this size and performance. The only downside is the use of NVMe chips inside instead of conventional solid state memory chips. The NVMe offer high speed since they are designed to be used inside computers for hard drives; however, they are themselfs sensitive to temperature and physical handling so these drives need to be kept in protective cases when not in use. Also, when using do not keep it in a case or location that will not provide cooling as they may overheat damaging the drive. I invested in a hardshell very small zip case designed for these SSD devices and keep it in my briefcase to go everywhere I go. I recommend this as a top quality brand using these NVMe chips as portable drives. I have purchased aftermarket NVMe chip enclosures to make my own portable drive but decided to keep these at home knowing that these may die in portable use.

It's hard to believe that digital storage has gotten this small and fast! The Sandisk Extreme and Extreme Pro SSD Drives have become my go-to for local storage of huge Video and LiDAR filesets, as well as on-site backups. The ability to put up to 4TB on an ultra lightweight drive, half the size of your cellphone is truly a gamechanger.

Great little drive I use to off-load old data from my 6TB MyCloud Mirror free up space. Unlike the HD MyCloud, it's extremely fast. Best Buy quickly shipped directly to my home, and it was a piece of cake to set up. Also, real convenient for travel. Very happy!

I have several of these. They are reliable and fast-Excellent! Their small size and light weight make them perfect for travel so I highly recommend. I also like the fact that the drive comes in different colored insert so it is easier to identify each one.

It has been great, fast and a lot of space. Sometimes there were some connection issues but nothing major.

Excellent little hard drive. I was surprised at the size of this, nothing in comparison with the old bulky ones. Highly recommended.
