it didnt solve what i was after i need a internal ssd nvme

I purchased this SSD driver as the installation path for steam games and to store some data. The reading and writing speed is very fast, and steam games can run on it without any problems.

This is a fast little device. Just keep in mind that you have to unsave your password to save the annoyance of signing in every time you power up your computer. Otherwise, the device will be locked until you enter the password.

Probably could've been a great little SSD. Unfortunately, the pre-loaded security software insisted that I create a username and password before I could access the main drive. I tried 3 - yes, 3 times to reformat the drive. Every time I reconnected the drive, it was magically back, insisting I install it before I could use the drive. This was supposed to be a photo archive for an elderly lady, and I knew that if I couldn't use it without using the security software, neither could she. The other brand I replaced it with is working perfectly.

I loved theses SSD's! This is my 3rd one that I personally own and I back up alot of photos and videos every month. Fast, reliable and also very small to carry with me especially when I travel for my business. I have the best peace of mind knowing that my clients photos and videos are safe

This 4TB SSD SanDisk external USB drive is so small! It is absolutely the best buy ever!

Works great -- easy and quick to use when I needed to transfer all the data from a failing PC. I captured everything I needed/wanted with no problems. Since then, I've purchased a second drive -- to have on hand for data storage. Easy to carry with me.

Love these little hard drives. So happy they now come in different colors as they can be designated for use with differing colors. So happy with this purchase. Would recommend!

So far, the SSD is working OK, I decided it was too large to test with Verification utility so I will trust BestBuy that it is authentic. The supplied cable is just a tad over 6 inches which I feel is too short, would have suited me better if it were at least 12 inches.

Drive works as expected. Size is perfect. Speed is great. The cord that comes with it is extremely short. Other than that, there are no issues. I will buy this one again!

I been a fan of this company since one dsy back in the early 2000. I am picky with my tech and ScanDisk is one of my favorite companies. Easy to format for the computer and for my xbox. I get all my customer Scandisk.

Extremely fast drive with good reliability. I like the 4TB capacity on mine and its good to use if you need to free up space on your local disk. It is a little pricey when you go for higher storage levels, but it is well worth the price. I use it on my 14inch MacBook Pro and have had no issues.

If someone asks me which one to chose if they need an external hard drive, i would first suggest the Sandisk external SSD. The device is almost the size of a credit card and the time it took to backup my 3tb of hard disk data is 150 mins at a write speed of around 1/2 gbps.

I am very happy with this SSD so far. It is very small and light, works as advertised, and the price was more than fair, enabling me to increase the space of my Time Machine backup to 4TB from my previous 2TB. Long-term experience is yet to be had.

Excellent. Zero issues. Fast transfer speed. My 3rd one.

Super short useless cable . Decent speeds around a steady 750MBs. Not quite as fast as the Samsung t7 shield my experience. The drive is tiny physical size the portability is high . The price was good while on sale other wise too expensive while comparing it to a Samsung t7 shield.
