I am picky with my tech and ScanDisk is one of my favorite companies. Easy to format for the computer and for my xbox. I get all my customer Scandisk.

The supplied cable is just a tad over 6 inches which I feel is too short, would have suited me better if it were at least 12 inches.

After using for the first time, it just got very hot during writing and reading data. It will probably break sooner if the heat is too much from using. Not recommend to buy.

This was perfect for my needs. I tested the write speed and it was over 4X as fast as my 2 TB external SanDisk drive.
