T5 killer?

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you are trying to decide between this and the T5, go with whichever is cheaper per GB. I own both, and there is very little difference between the two. Speeds are indistinguishable, don't let that 10MBps fool you. The only real considerations are build quality, operating temperature, and aesthetics. This drive feels cheaper, it's lighter and made of rubbery plastic, the T5 is aluminum and feels sturdier. This one gets warm to the touch (not hot, but you'll definitely notice) when under heavy use, the T5 does not. And, more subjectively, this one isn't as sleek and professional looking. If you can justify paying extra for these mostly cosmetic reasons, go for it. Otherwise save your money and get whichever is cheaper.

It comes with a small USB-C cable and I think this is the only problem I found. If you loose little cable or the adapter, there is no other way you can access the drive. The device has a female USB-C connector.
