Portable USB type C SSD

Bought it to store movies to play on my iPad. Plug it in to usb C port on iPad, go to files, click the drive and they're there. Small form factor means it is easy to keep with me. Wish I would have bought a bigger 1TB, but that's my fault. Not much else to say here. It works.

Good having cable for type a or c. Nice being able to clip it on my bag, keys, etc. I keep it with me and can connect my phone to it.

Small and Faster Than a Hard Drive

I can definitely tell a difference with the speed as I can scroll through them much quicker than on the disk drive. I think I am only limited now by the hardware of my computer in terms of what I can do.

Video Editing Must-have - be careful with cable

Crazy fast transfer speeds and editing off of the drive is pretty much just like editing off of an internal SSD. I almost got the T2 just because everyone and their Mom uses that drive but I wanted something a lot more durable since it has a nice rubberized outside. One thing I would be aware of is that the USB-C interface inside the HD case became a little loose and I am very careful with it, especially when it's plugged in and it somehow has a little bit of play. I tested to make sure it's not losing connection and it doesn't, so that's a good sign, but just be careful with the cable to HD interface.

Solid State Drive worth the price

It’s only 3 or 4 inches tall. It comes with a “C” connector and a USB connector. They both have very short cords. I was surprised how quickly it backed up my Mac Pro compared to my non-solid state drive external back up drive. I back up once a week.
