Got all my photos backed up, faster than my old Seagate portables. Does get a little warm with heavy usage.

External durability is great and the speed is really good too. A little pricey for the capacity but still a very good solid state hard drive.

This drive has made my life so much easier. I had an external hdd for years and i could tell it was getting tired. So with a new comp i also got this external ssd, what a difference! Great decision, great on sale price, great performance from this ssd!

Purchased for Final Cut Pro X editing. No more spinning beachball and 3+ reboots for each editing session. Workflow is much faster too. After getting this ssd I think I can eek out another year out of an 8 year old iMac. I'm not using for professional editing.

Been using this drive with my PC to store media files for recording software. Has been working very well. This drive is smaller than I expected. Very compact, but well-made. I would recommend this drive. The only con is that it’s a bit pricey compared to other drives.

I bought this for storing digital art files I access frequently. It is blazing fast compared to the hard drive it replaced. You can reformat it to fit your application. (i.e. NTSF with a different cluster size if that's what you need.) I'm now tempted to get two and configure them with RAID 0.

Super fast! Definitely improved my workflow. Not sure why, but the adapter to convert the USB C plug to a standard USB seems to keep it from being recognized on my older laptop. As soon as I put it on my new laptop directly into the C port, I had no problems.

Compact but powerful unit. Works well. Definitely worth the price, as are all SanDisk units I have used. It is my GOTO storage company.

Well needed a nice fast storage that supports USB 3.1 Gen 2 speeds to save some game recordings to and move it around to different computers for editing and what not. Was not disappointed with this device at all. It reaches to almost a T the spec speeds and so far has not failed me once.

Picked up one of these SanDisk drives at my local Best Buy store. So far no issues with it. Uploaded all my photos onto it to free up some space on my computer. I’ve been using SanDisk for a long time so I knew to get this one in particular. Definitely would recommend!

I am a pro photographer and love this item. I am rough on all my equipment and having this Extreme 500 allows me to concentrate on my work and not working about babying an external drive. It's small like a credit card and fits nicely in my camera pack. I highly recommend this to anyone

I've never had a solid state drive before. I love it !!! FAST is all I can say. Packaging says for storing photos, but you can store documents and pictures both. Everything works so smooth it is really, in fact, AWESOME!!! If your looking for an external drive - get this one.

Great for transferring photos to offload my camera memory card. Of course computer required to do that. I am about to edit 4K videos on this card with no lag or issues at all. Use between Mac and Windows pc. Wouldn’t leave home without it

Very fast in transferring the data, sleek design and can hold every time because of small size SSDs are meant to be fast. I like it and it reduced ample time while transfer the data. I am planning to buy 1TB more

I used this on the daily between my personal desktop computer, my laptop, and iPad Pro 11 for school work that deals with extensive Info Tech studies that include database coding and other programs. I love how transfer speeds are great for my needs!

This is my first SSD and I couldn't be happier! I picked this up on sale to expand my Nvidia Shield. I was able to connect it as an extension, so I could get the most use out of it. Haven't tried a 4k movie yet, but I'm certain it will be perfect quick transfer speeds.

I like it. It is very small and you can back up a lot. In addition, I use it for VMs. The speed in combination w/ USB-C seems good.

This is very small. Just the size of big let chain. The performance is good. The price dropped by 25% in month after I got this.

The speed and with this sad external storage is amazing! I leave it plugged in to the back of my Mac mini and I’ve got blazing quick access to my data. Saved me the cost of apple’s tax on additional storage and I can take it anywhere to boot. Love this drive!

This thing is FAST! I used it for my Xbox One X and the loading times for a game like Destiny 2 are so much faster then the standard hard drive. It loads the game up about 3 times faster then when it isn't being used. Very durable as well.
