    This very small and light-weight drive is handy when travelling for transferring photos and video from the SD card of my camera. It should also be good for playing movies to a laptop but I haven't tried that. Being solid state, its transfer speed is fast; limited only by the USB 3.1 connection. The easy-to-connect type C cable connection is a plus. It is good to see more devices starting to use type C.

    Bought this to use as a portable web development drive. I have to computers in two different buildings and needed to be able to work at either computer. I installed a portable version of XAMPP on the SanDisk along with my websites and now I can run them from either place. I may purchase a second one for 3D work.

    If you shoot photogrpahy a SSD drive is a must. I like SanDisk products and this is no exception. It has great write and read speeds. Only thing is, when using it a lot it tends to get hot which concerns me.
