Needed it for the new camera.

Ended up buying faster memory elsewhere when I got tired of seeing the camera say "Processing" for 4 or 5 seconds before I could take another shot.

Fragile lock slider

card didn't work

All I got was an error message saying to format the card, but when I tried to do that, both cameras said the card couldn't be formatted. I bought it to take photos on my honeymoon on an African safari, so this was enormously frustrating!! Good thing I overpacked and had a second spare card that actually worked.

Did not work for me

But then i got home and i tried to use it but it didnt work. So, i was far away in my country, so i couldnt do anything. Maybe its a great SD Memory Card but... not enough to catch videos in Black Magic Pocket

Excellent for DLSR photographers

It definitely helps with the buffer speed if you use continuous shooting. Picked up two when it was on sale and saved $490.00!!! Below is a list of how many pictures that can be taken at different file settings within the camera: Large Files 6016x4016; 24.2 MP NEF-RAW+ JPEG FINE 915 pictures NEF-RAW + JPEG NORMAL 1,000 pictures NEF-RAW+ JPEG BASIC 1,100 pictures NEF-RAW- 1,100 pictures (Setting I use) JPEG FINE- 6,800 pictures JPEG NORMAL-4,000 pictures JPEG BASIC- 15,700 pictures THIS IS THE LARGEST SD CARD THAT CAN BE USED IN A NIKON DLSR CAMERA. ANYTHING ABOVE 64GB WONT WORK.
