However I noticed some of my pictures have been wiped out. Not sure if it was camera itself or the SD card. Both were brand new.

Only used it for a couple of shoots in a Canon HF G30 video camera, but so far it has been flawless, no dropped frames. Worth the higher cost if being used for full HD video.
