||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this for use on trips with the impression that I could upload word documents from my desktop, work on it on my ipad, then transfer it to the flash drive back to my computer. unfortunately, either Apple or Microsoft does not support this so I have to attach and send the edited document to my email then drop it into my desktop folder. little bit of a hassle but doable for now as I don't have a lot of documents. would've thought twice if I had known this, but as flash drives go, it is good.

All you have to do is download the "iXpand Sync" app from the app store, plug in the SanDisk to your device and start saving all your pictures, music and videos.

Not as convenient as just having extra memory because it uses a separate app. But no complaints other than I t fits REALLY tight when using a life proof case. Battery life is really good.

Don't bother
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this iXpand drive thinking that it would be a convenient way to move videos from my MacBook to my iPhone. Specifically, I wanted a way to create 30 second Twitter videos and 15 second Instagram videos on my MacBook and move them to my iPhone for uploading, since these social media services require uploading from their mobile apps. Unfortunately, this device does not do that. The required app for this device offers very limited functionality for getting documents TO the iPhone. Indeed, about all it seems useful for is transferring photos and videos FROM the iPhone. If that's what you need, maybe this product is for you. But don't bother getting this if you want to transfer stuff to your phone. For that, AirDrop seems to be the best choice, if you can get it to work.
