The only negative is needing to download an app. I work with people who take photos as part of their job. Most of them are not tech savvy and have iPhones because their ease of use. Unfortunately, that means when they send me the photos, they do it 1 photo per email - so I get hundreds of emails a day flooding my inbox. I purchased this flash drive and now they load their photos on the drive. It has GREATLY cut down the amount of time they waste sending piles of emails and saves me from having to download them individually.

I bought my first iXpand drive about a year ago, since then I have bought four more, one for every member of my family. I have told no less than 100 people about it. I keep mine on my key chain. It is 100% reliable and in a world with both Apple and PC devices, this drive is the perfect bridge. I would never buy a regular thumb drive again. Not only does it store music and photos, but it also stores files like a regular thumb drive. When I travel I load up 4 or 5 movies and watch them in my iPad. Too cool! Super convenient! Everyone needs at least one!

This is a great device to copy files from your computer to your phone. I had been searching for a device like this for a while and found this one on sale at BestBuy and chose this one also because I believe Sandisk is a reputable company known for quality. No problem setting it up and the app is easy to use and works great. Wish they made a combination usb drive compatable with the older cables used for older models of iPhones and iPads too.

Easy to use. Able to transfer pics in bulk to other devices. Safe external storage. More space now for more pictures and video.

This flash drive does exactly what it is supposed to. Easy to move files from laptop to iPad and great for freeing up space on Apple devices.

Easy to use and effective way to free up space on the iPhone. The purpose this was purchased for was to download just over 3000 photos from my wife's phone and not have to purchase more space on the cloud. Very easy to use, just plug it in and it has you download the mobile app then it asks to set up auto back-up feature. Very quick download speed which was a surprise. I was able to then remove it from the phone and plug into my laptop and transfer the photos and place them where I want.

I used it one time to transfer photos from my iPhone to the iXpand device. I connected the iXpand to my Mac and transferred to photos to Photos on the Mac. I deleted several folders of pictures that come with the iXpand but it did not increase the available memory. To fix that, with the iXpand connected, press Shift-Command-. (period) to show hidden files. Open the Trash folder and delete all the photos. The available space will be almost the capacity of the iXpand device. With that little trick, this device will do a great job.

Very easy to use. Scan disc cleared out my phone and opened up storage space for other aps. .

No need for the cloud! This gadget is easily attaches to iPhone and backing up photos is easy using it’s user friendly app!

I’ve had this for a while now and it hasn’t given me any problems. I use my iPhone to take a lot of photos or screenshots of things I want to remember or have in the future and this makes it easy to store them and go through them again at a later time. I’ve only used it for pictures and for that it’s been perfect. It’s easy to use and I love the convenience of it. I recommend it.

Easy to use. Great device for backing up photos from your smartphone. I had previous purchased another off brand to do the job, but it was slow and took forever. This device however was great and it was a lot faster. First time I looked at it I passed it up as I had another one, but the next time I was in I need to get to a certain amount for the no interest financing so decided to give it a try and sure glad I did! Works perfectly.

Frees up memory on cell phone. Much easier to use than plugging data cable into laptop to download pictures. App is good too.
