I bought this to free up the memory on my phone. It works well if you don't overwhelm it with too many pictures at a time. It's a great way to transfer pictures to a storage drive so you can get them off your phone and off your iCloud.

Works great, fast transfer rate, great backup for my camera.

I needed to transfer a lot of files to my new IPAD PRO. The stick helped BUT only 3 stars, because there was a long lean-curve. First I had to install an APP on my IPAD PRO and then I had to figure out how to send the files from the stick to the right APP on my IPAD. .... After all the time put into it, I decided to go an other way and use DropBox for my file transfer. I use it now to transfer pictures and videos to my friends and students computer, but at my home I use WiFi and cloud software for transferring files. It works, but if you have a fast wireless system, don't bother with it. It's just a back-up-plan for me now.

This requires a free app to be installed on your iPhone or iPad. The 2-way connector (lightning, USB) then enables backing up the device and/or transfers from it. It's cheaper than buying more iCloud.

Mother's iPhone packed from pictures, of course she wants to keep all, bought this she connected it and a few minutes with the included tutorial, and she is off to the races backing up her pictures and videos.

I got one for me and one for my girlfriend. My IPad doesn't have enough memory for my music, photos and videos. She has the same problem withher iPhone. This is a perfect solution. I'll never have to worry about it again.

Purchased to transfer photos from iPad to digital photo screen. Once I figured out that I had to download another app to convert photos to jpg, it worked great.

It does everything it's supposed to do - transfer files from iPhone to USB device. Good to store high resolution/quality iOS photos and share with others.

I was looking for an easier way to back up some photos locally from my iPhone. I currently have an iPhone 6s. In my opinion, for me, it worked quite well. Bought one for a gift after using it, the recipient was very happy.

I would routinely delete photos I took with my iPhone because of lack of space on my phone. The iXpand now allows me to keep all my photos by allowing me to instantly save them!! Worth its money!!!!!

Once the app was installed on my phone, the migration of my data and pictures was easy and flawless. I have also used the iXpand to review and obtain data onto my desktop. Great way to increase storage space on your phone!

BOUGHT THIS DEVICE FOR SISTER IN LAW TO UNLOAD ALL THE PICTURES OFF HER PHONE TO MAKE THE PHONE STORAGE LESS AND MAKE THE PHONE OPERATE QUICKER WITHE LESS FILES....VERY EASY TO USE....GREAT PRICE.
