My wife was out of room on her IPhone and this was able to free up enough space so that she could at least take another photo. Would have given it five stars, but you have to install an app for the backup. Wish it was more like an open ended USB device that you could just drag items to and not install another app on the phone.

So easy to use you almost don't need instructions.

This product is great to free up space on my iPhone.

The device and app works OK most times but crashes from time to time. After some trials, I found it's safest to load the app first and then plug in the device, do one thing at one time, and then close the app and remove the device. By following this boring route, it has only crashed twice for me during the last months of usage.

Nice flash drive and it useful to save your documents

I've had the original iXpand flash drive for years and it still works well, but I like that this drive is thinner and doesn't block the USB port next to it, a problem I've had with the original one. Transfer is fast also.

This is great for transferring pics and files off your iPhone to free up space. I have two CONs: 1) You have to download their app in order to move files, and 2) there are audio compatibility issues when uploading/transferring video/music files.

The struggle I had with this is the usb connection did not fit my desktop USB port at work. So while backing up my iPad works, the transfer to the desktop did not. I had to transfer to a laptop that had a port that worked and then save to another usb to transfer to desktop.

Flash drive works flawlessly and was very low price

Bought this as a gift and haven't used it yet. The idea of it sound great.

Price is a bit steep but is a great tool for space

Makes moving pictures off of my iPhone or iPad a dream. Then I have an option/ability to leave the pics on the flash drive or move them to my computer. I take a lot of pictures so I will be getting more iXpand drives. I have recommended this product to several of my friends & family.

Very easy to use! Helps keep pictures in one place

I do not use this for extra storage such as PICs and contacts as I have the cloud for that, but this is much more reliable than the wireless types that have a tendency to loose their connections from time to time. This item is reliable for travelin, but just make sure that your movies are in the mp4 format.

I bought this to try to get more space on my iPad. The software needed to do this required as much or more than my photos. I thought the photos took up more room than they did. I would have liked to be able to take my documents off as well but it is just for photos and videos. Maybe useful if I download a movie

It comes in handy when I get picture happy on vacation and I can just insert this into my iphone and all my pics/videos can save on the drive. The only draw back is occasionally the app will say that the drive is full and I would only have recorded a 2 minute or so long video. This is worth the buy though
