Needs to much space on phone as my phone is full of pics and that's why I got this there telling me to dump pics on I tunes get the app and then put pics back if I wanted to do all this I would not need this idem

Very convenient and practical, but returned it because it was a little too bulky for me.

THis IXPAND stopped working on my iphone/ ipad. I was told by the company that they are having issued with Apple IOS and is still working on the issues. Then, I want my money back.

I was excited when I purchased it. However the product did not work, so I returned it.

iPhones would show error saying iPod not compatible. We returned the item.

Only bad thing was I couldn't update the device on my MacBook. Had to be updated on a Windows OS or an iPhone that hasn't been updated to 9.0 because my iPhone was version 9.1. Hopefully soon they will make it more compatible with MacBooks. Other than that its great. I'm curious how long the battery will last.

Did all my research. Checked the reviews here on best buy. But what recent reviewers & best buy don't disclose is that this sandisk ixpand product has not yet been updated to work with IOS-9. and there is no ETA on when sandisk will have an upgrade launched. Go to the sandisk website first before buying this product to get the latest update status. i will buy this again once it is up to date with IOS-9. best buy accepted my return with out any issue & no restock fee. Best Buy understood completely that this product is of no use to Apple product users until ixpand is upgraded to IOS-9

The device is easy to use once you have downloaded the app and synced it to a computer. After that it is simple plug, transfer, and save. It is great for transferring contacts between Apple devices.

The recent Apple update and potentially future updates do not play nice with this drive! Encrypted information was locked and lost since SanDisk either poorly coded the base software or does not have a professional relationship with Apple. I have spent my afternoon making calls to SanDisk Tech Support (this is an overly generous title). It is now 7:30pm and still no luck with either recovery or reformatting. I also now must remain cautious that the any Apple update will lockout iXpand in the future. The drive no better than a jump drive a conference vendor would provide... What a joke!

If you are getting a new iPad or plan on updating your firmware stay away from this product. It currently does not work with IOS 9.3.1 at all (This is what all new iPads come with). On the website it says that if you download 9.1.2 beta then it works. Well it does not, while files can be read, if you are watching a movie you can not fast forward or pause without the app crashing, then you have to hard close it and open again to go back to that part of the movie. This product does not and hasn't for a while now currenly work as Sandisk and Best Buy advertise that it does. STAY AWAY!!

It worked fine for all of 2 hours, then quit working on my iPhone 6. I reinstalled the SanDisk app, charged the iXpand drive, and it still failed to connect. It's dead. SanDisk customer service is the WORST. Don't buy this unless you want a TON of headaches!!!

It is very hard to use it hence returned it. It works with the app hence no use of it..
