Owned for 10 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really needed this device to back up photos from my former iPhone XS, but no matter how many times I tried to use it, the software and/or hardware either quit, took too long, or simply didn't perform. SanDisk is still a name I trust, but this product was beyond lacking. I ended up backing up my photos in other ways. It's just not worth the aggravation.

I had lots of pictures and needed the space for more pictures! It worked as stated, the pictures did transfer from my IPhone. However, when it came to transfer the pictures to my computer, I was unable to do so. Apparently, this device is very fragile or improperly made. I took it to a company who specializes in transferring of pictures from different media. I discovered that when removed from my IPhone, it came apart just enough at the connect point that I would be unable to get the pictures off of it!!! I took it to another company, only to be told the same thing. I eventually had to pay over $200 to get those pictures off of that device! If bought, be very careful in how you remove it from your IPhone!!

So many times it wouldn’t register the device being attached and you have to re-load over and over again ... also the app doesn’t recognize duplicates for example your contact list and it would just load duplicates to your phone or save duplicates to the device ... I wished it would work better with the App. It could have been great.
