It does not work at all for podcasts. Pages documents can be moved one at a time. Photos transfer easily. Photos can be backed up all at once. So it depends on what you want to move from iPad to computer.

The advertising said "easily transfer videos, pictures, documents " The words should say " very complicated to transfer videos, pictures, documents" I have read so many google posts and reached out to San Disk, and I have yet to copy any pictures from Google pictures! I'm going to have to pay a computer expert to teach me how! And yes, I am not at level four in my skills to decifer expert help from Google posts, etc. So, wish me luck! Recommend, no way! I wish I could get my money back! It's worthless to me!

I can use if I charge to 100 percent but takes all night. can move to con\mputer but can only look at them, no email, copy, nothing, Windows says "can't find file but I can see that it is there. now tried it again and it just quit after backing up only 4 pics.

One thing I noticed is that it gets confused with pictures, especially if you have saved photos from your messages on your phone and it has a similar file name as other pictures.

The problem is it changed the file names to a long alphanumerical string. Not good for my purposes.

I was mistaken I can only download pics and videos. Haven’t tried it the other way yet but that’s not what my needs are.

Owned for 4 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.You will think the whole purpose of a drive like this would be to copy/backup files etc from your iPhone or Ipad. Unfortunately it has never quite work for me using an Ipad Air, iPhone XS Max or new iPhone 11 Pro Max. Always starts the process either copy or backup and it seems to crash after copying a couple of files. Has never been able to copy or do a complete backup. Also had tried it over different iOS versions up to version 13. The quality and everything else seems fine. Better than average, so as an USB drive seems fine. You can but a similar USB drive for a better price.
