Great invention! Simple to get started. Just insert the drive into your iPhone. It will ask if you want the app installed. It goes to the app store where you can install it for free. Just start the app and you’re set. I put movies and pictures on it via usb from my desktop computer. Transfer was fast with the USB 3.0. Playback on the iPhone is great although you must use the Sandisk app to access the pictures and videos. You can also view any files from your desktop. I found it does not access the iPhone video/movies from iTunes. Just the content in iPhoto. You can also copy files from your iPhone and transfer them to a computer. You can chose whether you want to backup your iPhone or use any encryption. So far I’m not using either but can change it later if needed. A nice feature is you can transfer your photos or videos from your iPhone to the iXpand drive and then plug it into the usb on your tv/smart tv. You can then view your iPhone content and play movies on your tv. There is a version that has an Otterbox protective cover. Overall, a great flash drive.

I purchased the SanDisk - iXpand 64GB USB 3.0/Lightning Flash Drive from Best Buy. The iXpand is awesome for its ease of use in transferring content. I use an HP laptop for volunteer work. I have an iPhone, Apple Mac Laptop, and an Apple iPad Air 2 tablet. I previously had to email documents and photos to have access to them from each of my owned items. With the iXpand having both an Apple Lightening connector and a USB iXpand I can easily save documents and photos to iXpand and then transfer them to my other devices. It is fast and great. The iXpand categorizes all of the items in files and in separate photo files. This iXpand is awesome. I demonstrated it to my relatives and friends on Thanksgiving and recommended each of the purchase an iXpand. Great purchase.

This is the product I was looking for to not only expand my storage capacity of my iPhone but also to easily navigate and load/download files i.e music, photos, movies from phone to IXPand and vice and Versa. Product & app are well engineered and designed. Really slick. Could not be more satisfied.

I've own the iXpands since they came out and was extremely upset when they stopped working due to apple updates, happy they revamped it, fix their issues and rolled out a new line. Slimmer, more reliable, the app is even more user friendly.

Love my new san-disk flash drive. It has lots of room for storage and easy to use.

I didn’t know what to think of this product until I bought it and I’m enjoying it a lot. It copies data fast, the interface is straightforward and it’s really easy to use. I am using it to copy my movies and playing them on my iPad. Pretty cool item, will definitely buy again.

It's so nice to have a flash drive that will transfer my photos and music from my IPhone to my computer without a huge hassle. I have a lot of pictures on my computer that I wanted to put on my iPhone as well and this product does the job better and easier than I thought.

My phone was getting too full with pictures of my grandkids, and I didn't want to trust cloud storage. I purchased this and transferred all my pictures and videos. I can take it to the kiosk and print from it. Great for what I wanted.

It's what I needed for music photos and movies on the go. I had to update my phone for xpand to work, but after that it worked seamlessly

No issues with this flash drive. Great size and no problems, would recommend.

It works normally very well. It has crashed a couple of times but nothing bad. I had to unplug and reinitiate it

Instead of showing a movie from the cloud (never full resolution) I use the iexpand to show full resolution movies which look much better.

I love that I was able to download my Pictures from my phone. Our computer broke and all my pictures were on there.

Paid $60.00 on sale for this flash drive that is junk. Tried to download photos from my iPhone 6, didn't work. went to Sandisk support 2 times and got cut off while I was typing my answer to them. Went on line and that was no help. Going to TRY to return it to the store tomorrow. It would start to download photos then stop, Sandisk was a quality company, I guess this junk slipped past quality control. DO NOT BUY, bad product. This won't ever be posted!!!!!!!

I downloaded the app from ITunes and then the app prompted me to plug the drive into the phone but it did not detect it. I ran through the several suggestions of how to troubleshoot in the San Disk apps troubleshooting section, but to no avail. I then went back to Best Buy to exchange it for the PNY brand iphone drive which worked perfectly AND faster.

This flash drive worked fine 1st time and downloaded all my pictures from iPhone. After that, it can no longer be recognized on either MAC, PC or iPhone, even after upgraded OS. Sandisk only offer exchange not refund. I don't fell trust this product anymore.
