Perfect for iPhone offline backup as long as you install app and perform back timely. Very hard to back up 10000+ photos at a time as it is crashing out.

I was disappointed to find out that I had to use their app for this thumb drive to work. Even if you wipe and reformate, iPhone will only see it when you have installed their app. Works, just have to jump through a few more hoops to get content on or off the thumb drive. Works great on a computer.

Had it not been for the help of a technician at the Geek Squad I wouldn’t have known about this product. This is tailored as a hard drive for an iPhone. And it can be connected to a number of different devices. I’m so glad for the knowledgeable assistant that sold this to me.

To start, I did not like that I had to upload an app to use it. With that can an agreement. It was easy to use. The first time though it said I had 1800+ photos, and for whatever unknown to me reason, it could not transfer them, so it said to try later. Next time, which was shortly after the first time, I had 1500+ photos. I do no know if I lost 300 pictures or what. It transferred those except for a few that it said I had to try again. Every time I try one or 2 more transfer. I never got to complete, but within a dozen. It does not have to a problem with the device. Also, coincidentally I usually use 1-2 GB data on my phone. This month for the very first time I used nearly 9. The only thing I did differently was use this device. I do not know if using it was the cause or there was a glitch with Verizon.

I used it but I haven’t had a chance to actually find out if it really saved my pictures! I certainly hope that it did because I deleted the pictures off my phone!

I was able to have get my photos moved into the iXpand drive but I cannot remove the photos off my phone. Also not clear on how to move the photos off the drive onto my laptop. I am also very not computer/technical literate!

It was the wrong type of flash drive since I needed one for my iPad Pro but it still worked out for my phone so it wasn't a huge loss! The only issue I have with it is that it gets kinda hot but other than that it's great!

I came in with two items I thought I needed but the clerk helped me with item. Why buy two items when this does what you want. Great clerk! Thank you.
