The fact you have to use an app just to get this thing to work would have told me everything I need to know. Transfers are slow. Sometimes it doesn’t detect the usb plugged in. I tried to transfer 5 video files I had on my phone and only 1 transferred but took around 20 minutes. Then it tapped out and didn’t detect the drive anymore. Would return it if I could. Do not waste your money.

Also, WiFi isn’t required for transferring files with the drive—it works directly through the Lightning port. Let us know if you need help troubleshooting. Probably need a tech savy associate to answer questions before leaving store. Though in principle it is a quality product that I'm sure will serve the purpose I purchased it for.

Have to remove and reconnect to down load photos off of I-Phone. I understand that a lot of videos has to re-download in order to transfer to Flash Drive.

Don't buy for Apple IOS

You have to change it to JPEG or another format just to be able to view previews in file explorer in Windows 10. From what I understand, this is a result of Apple changing the format in which pics are saved. Way to mess things up Apple!?!?

I called geek squad to find out the reason, i was told just delete the doubles. Wow.

Posted .Please allow us to inform you that whenever we click the 'Live' pictures on the iPhone or iPad and transfer them to the SanDisk iXpand Flash Drive Go the SanDisk iXpand Drive Application creates the copies of those pictures in which one is the original picture, second one is a gif and the third one is a jpeg picture.
