Must have been bad memory - runs SLOW!

I purchased this and noticed it took DAYS to back up a fraction of my photos on iPhone. Was it me? Was it my iPhone? Was it Best Buy? I don't know, but I exchanged this for the larger drive (256gb) and that one worked great. See my other review on the same SanDisk drive 256gb, that one works great!

So easy to transfer pictures

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I thought this would be similar to an external hard drive for a computer, where it could be formatted to supplement my ipad's memory and allow me to keep it plugged in (I do a lot of digital art, and the ipad I have only has enough working memory to allow for about 10 layers on a high-res piece). It works as a thumb drive to transfer files, but doesn't do what I bought it for. Next time I will do more research before purchasing.
