Great backup method

Probably could get to be complicated if you don't label dates for custom folders and each backup batch. I was able to get my GoPro photos and videos and Quik movies off the computer and Apple IOS Photos phone storage to make room on each. Seems pretty straightforward without much customization. Can also backup contacts, etc. if desired.

It is so frustrating. I have 6000 pictures to transfer and backup but I can't get passed 50/100. Everytime I click on a few pictures to transfer, it starts to transfer a few, and then "BAM!" .... kicked out and I have to start all over. I do not want to give it a bad review- maybe it is my internet or something I am doing wrong? It seems like such a good product and a total blessing - so I will keep trying. I really want it to work so bad! I wish there was a way to transfer all my photos somewhere!

I dont even have to add them to my mac right away. Just transfer to the usb device and I store them on there until I need to print or transfer items.

Just plug it into an iPhone or iPad and it asks to download the app to transfer the files. Once the files are there, it's just easy enough to flip it to the other side and put it into a PC or Mac and transfer the files over to that, too.

It seems to work better when connected to wifi. Depending on how much photos you have, the transfer can take a while. The size is perfect and can be carried as a keychain. Aside from transferring photos, you can also back up your phone with this drive.
