Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This product is a little sketchy to use for photos as it did download the photos from my iPhone with ease though the 600 some photos and videos that I had saved to the San disk while scrolling to view them the device while plugged into the phone gave a promt on the phone screen to plug it in that was concerning as it was already in. It seems like it crashed and when I unplugged it from the phone and reinserted it back, all the data on it was gone. I’ve never had issues with a San disk memory product before and this why I payed a higher price for it as compared to some options available on Amazon or other websites. My recommendation would be to use this as a tool to unload some photos from your phone, do not follow the promt to delete them from your phone once prompted by the San disk device. Upload them to a different location and then manually go back and remove them from your phone. It will give you a bit of security in this way to prevent the loss of valuable memories.

iPhone 12 Mini and iPad wouldn't recognize

Had to put the USB end into a lightning adapter for my phone to recognize so returned to get a cheaper regular USB drive.

Backup stopped before complete

Won’t buy again

I was going to put them on my laptop but they won’t transfer. I’m very upset I no longer have those pictures on my phone. I wanted them saved so I could look at them again and they are trapped on this device. Very disappointed

Small device large pain in the back side

I was unsuccessful in being able to obtain any of the dats. I confirmed the compatibility prior to purchase, but that clearly isn't sufficient. I wouldn't recommend this device unless you are proof positive you can make it work properly. If so, please reach out as I still would like to be able to utilize this resource considering the cost.

Make sure you know how to back up

DO NOT BUY.

Product hard to use by average user skilled person

It are terrible so I’ve I and I can’t figure out how to get some pictures off my computer and clean up my computer. All it does is just keeps loading.

Purchased an adapter on Amazon for an actual regular usb and am able to save pics with that. So do not waste money on this at Best Buy.
