I do not have the need or tools to measure its performance in transferring data at very high speeds. For sound-recording and video-game needs, this card is plenty of space at a very good price.

The card holds game save data, screenshots, and the few downloaded titles & demoes I've acquired from the Nintendo eShop. At 16 GB, the capacity is almost overkill for a 3DS. I can't comment on the speed of the card (as there are different speed classes of SD cards), but it's fine for a 3DS - there's no noticeable lag or anything like that. Recommended.

Alot of Space

I use it for mainly shooting JPEG images. I bought a 32GB card for traveling so I can take RAW and JPEG images and not have to worry about the space as much. When shooting in JPEG this 16GB card is plenty big. I took it to La Jolla State Preserve last weekend and took many photos. They came out great and had no issues with the speed, security, or space of the card.
