Doesnt give all the space

I hadn't as much as put some videos on there when I noticed that the leftover space was about 13gb. Where did all the 32gb go? I couldn't figure it out. Looks like almost half of the space is used to configure the second half. Might as well buy a 16gb that will use 1 or 2 gb to accomplish that.

seems unnecessary

Seemed cumbersome and unnecessary.Perhaps I just am not tech savvy enough to understand the whole concept. I was persuaded to purchase it by the sales associates because I was unwilling to pay an inflated price for a regular memory card
