The capacity on this card is very useful for photos, videos, games, etc. The transfer rate for transferring files, photos, and videos is very fast.

Its probably just something that happens on occasion as the second one works fine.

A must for any HD Video Digital Camera

YOU NEED a card this large if you plan on using that particular camera for HD video. Otherwise a smaller one would suffice. It holds both video and applications and is an excellent extension to the internal memory.
