I got this to replace a previous Sansaclip player that I'd had for 3 or 4 years. I like the simplicity of playing and downloading music and the easy functionality of the buttons. I don't need a video player or picture viewer, just an mp3 player and radio reciever. I'm using different ear buds (and sometimes headphones) than what comes with the player because I don't like the standard earbuds, and the sound output is great.

I bought this player for my 12 year old son after my ipod and a used ipod met their end in outdoor activity related accidents! This player sounds great (once you adjust the EQ). Its easy to load and easy to use, although I would recommend some Skullcandy earbuds as an inexpensive, but very significant upgrade. I was still pretty impressed with the earbuds that came with it. At it's price point it is easily replaceable!

This is my wife second SanDisk Sansa Clip that I bought for her. Her first on ended up in a glass of water that was on the night stand. The learning curve is a little steep but once you know the basics it is pretty easy to use. It has enough memory for my wife's music collection which she gets from by music account on Amazon. She loves it when she listens to music while doing laundry or going outside for walks when it is not -5 below. She likes it because she can clip it on her belt loop without getting her headphones caught while working out.

Holds several books and tunes. Easy to learn and to download entertainment from multiple sources. My only problem is that it is easy to accidentally advance to a new chapter of a book and difficult to get back to where you were.

This is my second SanDisk Clip Sport. Nice and lightweight. Full features and easy to use. Unfortunately, my first one lasted about a year before the battery stopped taking a charge. Hoping this one lasts longer!

    Some changes from older models

This is a lightweight mp3 player, I like for the gym, running and commuting. I listen to audio books on mp3, primarily. The new software removed an option to play all under the artist. Without that I couldnd play the audiobooks continuously. The work around is to put all the mp3s in one folder, and use the file browser, rather than the music option. The button lock was no longer intuitive, when they merged the power button with the center selector button. A firmware update adds the button lock to the back button, hold for 2 sec. THe feel is lighter, maybe a bit more cheap feel than previous models. but all in all seems to be working fine. My previous clip wore out the headset jack. We'll see if this lasts that long.

Good MP3 Player For Working Out

The Sandisk Clip Sport is a nice mp3 player for working out. It clips conveniently to clothing or an armband and the controls are easily accessible and easy to use and manipulate, even for someone with big hands/fingers. It plays multiple formats, including Apple's iTunes format, so there is little need to convert songs if you have a diverse music library like I do. The only two cons that I have found with the player so far is that it would be nice if they included an armband (my preference when I am working out) and that it does not transfer playlists that you create on your computer. It does allow you to create playlists on the player itself, but it is not a very convenient method for putting together a workout playlist.

Did what I bought it for

I bought this player to connect to a speaker to use in customers plants to have music while working. The speaker I bought with this player just did not have enough power to hear well in some of the larger building we used it in. The player itself is easy to use and download to. It can be used with Windows Media Player or with the Rhapsody software included. I added a 16MB Micro SDHC card for extra storage because the 4GB included was not large enough for my music collection. It took me about a day to get use to the buttons. I used the ear plugs once when I first turned it on to see if it was working. I played the player for 12 hours and the battery discharged about 2/3rds. Very satisfied with the product.

I go through these things like water, ad i use them as part of my work gear for hearing protection, this is a tough little unit and i withdstood 8 hour on a roof in pouring rain, and it didnt give up. It is half the price of the other ones i buy. Easier to use and a little more volume....

I have not had a problem with this MP3 player at all. I use it for my daily walks and I have to charge it maybe once a week. It seems to have good battery life and holds a lot of music. I have no complaints. I also love that it is rechargeable and uses the same adapter as my phone.

This is a great value for an option packed MP3 player. Dont both with the 8GB, get the 4GB and get a 32GB class 10 micr SD or smaller to fit your needs. This is one of the few with expandable memory. It also has an FM radio which is great for the collage football games in the stands. A plus to be able to record vioce notes. several custimizable sound themes or pick the 5 bar EQ and make your ouwn custom theme. I woulnt both with the start up disk, it will just add bloatware to you device and Rapsidy is not all that. ROCKBOX it and you can take control of this little player. I have this on all day at work and dont worry about battery life. Even if it did die I could just run it from USB power. has album art and all the song tag data. I highly recomment you format in the setting menu before you add anything to it. Trust me I learned.

Bought this for heads-down stuff at work, easy to use and light enough to clip onto just about any article of clothing; best thing is that you can pick up an 8GB expansion card (be sure to get Class 10) relatively cheap right there at BB so you don't need to spend the extra bucks unless you need 16GB or more. My last player had a better battery life but was about 3x heavier.

I really like this MP3 player, except one thing - I wish it had a lock feature. Other than that it has good battery life, the ability to add more space and an EQ for a decent price.

It is a great running or jogging companion; light and 3 playlist option for customizing your routines. I could not manipulate the playlists online. I had to create playlists on the device, which is TEDIOUS! The ear buds have an INCREDIBLE sound and noise cancelling quality. However, the earbuds are not good for running, keeps falling out! Overall for the price, it is a great purchase. I could afford to buy earphones that hook around the ear and stay put!

This is the second SanDisk MP3 player I've purchased. I bought this one for my 8 year old son who's beginning to really get into music. The player is perfect for him and easy to use. Because I'm familiar with the model, I can easily monitor what he's listening to and maintain his music files. Adding and removing files to the player is breeze. The only downside is this player is not compatible with Rhapsody like my other SanDisk player.

I am very happy with my player. I use it daily at the gym, and never have a problem with it skipping or having issues. I also use this daily in my car via a usb. No issues there either. It was tricky at first because shortly after I bought it, there was a upgrade that was needed, and I had to download the upgrade software on my laptop. Other than that, its a simple drag over to add music and its good to go. Also great AM/FM reception.

I use this MP3 player in a permanent installation in my car. I run a 64gb micro SD card loaded with all of my full-fatted non-compressed digital music. I rarely use my CD player anymore as this replaces it nicely. It continuously charges through an always-hot USB 12v connection and connects to the car's stereo via the headphone jack (to the AUX input). I leave it on random play all the time, and it sounds great. I could easily remove from the car and it would transform to a portable player instantly. I highly recommend this very inexpensive high-quality music source.
