My previous SanDisk MP3 player finally had to be retired after being a constant running companion for over four years. Throughout its life it always exceeded my expectations. It was strapped to my arm during three marathons and hundreds of training miles through rain, snow, and mud without fail. Only a couple weeks after purchasing this new one I ran another marathon and it pulled through with flying colors. Over the four hour span it barely consumed a quarter of its battery life and performed flawlessly. I have yet to apply every part of its functionality like the FM radio, the stopwatch, and the voice recorder but I can think of potential uses for all of them. The most important thing to me is sound quality which is excellent. One can customize every aspect of the sound, or choose between several pre-sets. Like with any device learning the menus took a few minutes but once acclimated using it is easy. Computer interface is simple: Just plug it in via USB and the software opens automatically, no downloads required. One can copy and paste individual songs or entire files to the players memory just as they would to any other storage device, very easy to use. One aspect I really like is how the lock/unlock feature works. Press the power button once and the buttons are locked, then press it twice to unlock them. This makes it very simple to change songs while running without missing a step. My only complaint was actually a BestBuy problem: They do not sell armbands for this device in their stores (or at least, not the one by me). One can purchase them elsewhere however, I found one at Kohls. There is a clip on the back of the player to attach it to clothing, but I just kept it in my pocket until I bought an armband. Overall, I love this new MP3 player. The price is great, it has a lot of functionality, and it is high quality. I have high expectations for it going forward but I have no doubt that it will live up to them. It is sleek and durable, just like me.

It's OK but not as easy to get songs to play and upload as I expected.

I probably would not buy this product again. Less expensive ones would do the job as well

The earphone are uncomfortable and do not pick up radio stations very well.

There are so many negatives to this mp3 player until I will not be able to name them all, but I do not like it at all. I bought it for my husband so that he could listen to his audiobooks and his Bible but the thing will not play in order no matter what we do. I will never purchase another one of these annoying little devices.

good product but the battery only last about 10 months befor it stops taking a charge

I LOVE this mp3 player,i have read some reviews about it before making the purchase and was pleased. When i got it, i was in love, there was a $10 credit to purchase music,and one audio book. It remembers the last place that you read,and continues from that spot. You can get additional space with adding a microsd card. when downloading material to the mp3 player, it allows you to determine if you want it stored on the internal or the external memory (using the microsd) It also have a voice recorder,which is great for those last minute thoughts or reminders. It can also record the radio. The power button is also used as the hold button.you can listen to music, podcast, or audio books.Its simple to use and very light weight. The only two things that are not so good about it,is there isn't any external speakers,(not a big deal purchase some and attach it to the headphone jack)and the earbuds that come with it are trash.(another no big deal,purchase some better headphones)Overall its a great player,for the price and the features it has on it, I would say its a winner!!! I dont work out but this works out for me! :)

Great product for the money but would not recommend it

The device was initially difficult to sync with my computer. The sound quality was good, but the headset plugin was loose within a couple uses. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone.

The insignia brand Best Buy use to sell were better.

Overall it is a nice piece of toy. The battery life is short-lived.

WE brought this home but really couldn't get it to work. We took it back and bought a (much more expensive) mac nano which was easier to load, easier to run and much more attractive
