Replaced a regular drive in a Tower PC for better performance and faster boot time. Works as expected. The one thing to know is that you need to purchase a 2.5" to 3.5" adapter to mount this drive in a Desktop PC. There is nothing in the product description that tells you this.

We have purchased about 50 these drives to update our aging desktops. We feel for the $ 50 price it will make our laptop last for another 3 - 4 years. It really speeds up using MS office and for logging into the PC.

For the price, this was a great purchase for me. I needed an SSD to get me back online because of a virus/trojan that took out my other SSD. This worked out perfectly!

This drive performs well in every aspect for a budget SSD. This is my second one of these I've used to revive an older system and it's working great as expected.

Got this for a RAID 10 array to go with another one and 2 more Intel 520's. What can I say? They scream! And for under 50 bucks, you can't go wrong. Yeah, yeah, I know there are better models out there and higher capacities, etc. But this one fit my budget and build (which ain't no joke build, either; 4790K in a Maximus Extreme IV). This ain't my first rodeo so, I can say with experience that these ain't a bad deal and would have no apprehensions pulling the trigger on another one. Haven't messed with any of the software they box them with but only cuz I haven't wanted to so I won't comment on it other than it could add value to it for some folks.

Significant speed increase in startup and running applications.

Like the new hard drive, much better than my nonSSD one.

It must have a item for my desktop to replace it. Speed is awesome and it is easy to install it. Thank you.

An SSD is a great way to speed up an older system, along with the upgrade to Windows 10.

Decent SSD for the price. Does the job. Boots up faster

Been using this product for close to 6 months, and no problems. I have this SSD running almost 24/7 and this thing is holding up perfectly. Great SSD for the price.

If you're starting off, this is a good SSD to go with. Not too huge, but enough for windows 10 plus some of your important programs.

I got this as a boot drive for my gaming rig. Even with an older SAT interface my machine boots up in less than 15 seconds.

This worked great in a HP Pavillion 23 - All in one for two days and then started failing. Checked the SSD firmware... I didnt know it until I attempted to reinstall windows 8.1 or 10 several times. It just seemed like "windows issues". It wasn't until a few days later that the drive failed to show at all on SanDisk SSD Dashboard. After installing a regular HD and it working perfectly that I realized that days of work was for nothing.

Does exactly what I needed and at the price point you can't go wrong.

Used to install Win7 to SSD. Laptop boots much faster and games run quick too!

This SSD makes old machines perform like new again at a very affordable price.

I would bet that the reason this product has so many positive reviews is because none of them are long term and were likely done right after installing. Which was a great time for me. Work like any other ssd I've owned has worked and simply bought this for a fast OS start up on my new pc. Went with this over other drives because it was cheap and had enough space for my OS. However, a month after installation the drive failed and had to buy a replacement (from a different brand). Even when i went to go buy a new drive I asked about a return policy and the workers asked which drive i had bought that failed. Told them sandisk and they all laughed and said that was the reason why. Not to say that all Sandisk ssds fail this quickly.But, I would spend the extra money for a more credible brand. Not worth the risk here.
