I have purchased a few of these and had no issues, lightweight and they run great.

SanDisk - SSD Plus 240GB Internal Serial ATA Solid State Drive - Black was on sale and I needed to replace my regular drive on my desktop as it had become unstable. This was a no-brainer.... I already had my desktop at Geek Squad working on the PC and went ahead and purchased the SSD. It makes booting up faster than before. All my OS and Program Software are loaded on it with room to spare.

My laptop now boots in about 20 seconds as opposed to about 1.75 minutes before.

Quicker boot up time with this Solid State Drive. I should have bought the larger capacity drive as I have more programs I could have placed on drive. Price was excellent!

I installed this hard drive in a Dell All IN One computer. It was much faster and I would Buy another one if the price is right.

This is just one of a few upgrades that I was making to an older laptop. Easy to install and get running. A lot cheaper than buying a new laptop. So far everything is ok.

I bought this SSD on sale, and for the price per GB it has been a great drive. Cloned/upgraded an old Macbook and it has brought new life to the 5+ year old Mac. Great buy.

Ideal for anyone looking for a substantial speed upgrade over a standard rotational hard drive. I've connected this specific model SSD to both laptop and desktop computers (you'll need a bracket to secure properly in a desktop, which isn't included) and installed both Mac OS and Windows. While 240GB isn't a TON of space, it is more than adequate for the installation of your OS and applications if you dont store much more than documents and a small media library. Anyone looking to store a large media library should go with the larger capacity model or supplement with an external, additional rotational drive, cloud storage, etc. This drive is perfect if you have a slower SATA 2 connection or dont need the absolute fastest SSD on the market, if so you may want to look to SanDisk's Ultra or Extreme lines or Samsung's 850 Evo or Pro.

I had bought the older model of his drive when I built my computer. A 120 GB for my windows install, and a 250 GB for my applications. With windows 10, I wanted a little more space for my windows install so I bought this 240 GB. I was able to transfer my windows wth no issues and now I have an extra SSD for a scratch disk. I never had issues with the older model and the new one is performing as expected.

So far this product is working exactly how I expected and is working great.

Very fast, competitive pricing. Not sure about long term yet but San Disk has been around for a long time so I am hopeful.

The price vs specs ratio on this SSD made it a great value. Put a system image on the SSD and moved my files to a new WD HDD. This Windows system now boots up in under 30 seconds and it is so much quieter than I expected. I couldn't be happier!
