Used to upgrade my 3 yr old MacBook Pro and it's been great. Not only faster speed but also getting longer battery time!

To this day, this is STILL to boot drive in my Gaming PC! This drive took the boot times from 16 seconds on a mechanical, to 5 seconds! That's a drastic improvement! When I first bought this, I didn't think it would make as much of a difference as people said it would, since this was my first SSD, but I was, and am still impressed. I've never had any issues with this drive. It's still got my OS on it, and I use it for programs that take a while to load on a mechanical such as Photoshop. All in all, I recommend it if you need a small, fast SSD.

San Disk SSD replaced my old slower standard disk drive. The SSD drive has booted up faster and the four year old laptop computer is running better. SSD should be on all new computers.

This SSD (solid state drive) is great. It has super fast read speeds, quiet, cool, & consumes less power than a HDD (hard disk drive). SanDisk is a brand I have confidence in.

Took a little bit to get it setup but after loading windows, I am very happy with the speed and stability of the drive.

I got the Sandisk ssd plus for a great price and put it in a friend's MacBook Pro. All I can say it gave Him new life.

First SanDisk SSD I have purchased. So far so good. Write speed not the fastest but read speed noticeably faster.

I bought this drive to replace a 250GB harddisk in a laptop. I cloned the harddisk with ReflectDL (free) and an USB enclosure. The program automatically reduced my 250GB to the 240GB of the SSD(the harddrive must contain less than 240GB for this). I changed out the drives and that was it.

Not only was this unit easy to clone and install, the computer booted rightup and performed as expected. I was surprised and pleased with the operation of this Solid State Drive.

Replaced my Macbook Pro 13" (2010) HDD with this SSD and the loading time was reduced by half, very good speed while accessing files and folders in the directory. If you are planning on changing your laptop because of the speed, consider replacing the HDD and upgrading the RAM, worked for me.

You don't have to break the bank to have a good SSD drive that can take your older machine to a new level, a lot faster than when your machine was new, believe me. This one has a very fast read speed, and an average speed for writing, but still a good contender. Quality is OK, just a few complaints in the past, but if you are in a budget and need performance, this one is for you.

I just recently built a new PC and was using my old mechanical drives for everything, decided to spend the money on this, and this SSD alone made more of an improvement in general usability than everything else. Start up is incredibly fast, programs open near instantly, it's awesome.

Needed a replacement for hard drive in a Gateway laptop. Easy install and works very well...saved my old laptop.

Hard Drive functioned as expected and installation and formatting was a snap.

Great drive for the money. Great size for a small. Make sure you have the software and hardware Required to clone your existing drive or a CD or USB key with windows on it so that you can reinstall the operating system

The price point and speed on this drive is great.. now the jury is out on lifespan... Guess we will see :-)

Man, It is a killer one. I got this SanDisk solid drive for my laptop and replace the origin broken one. It took me 50 secs to start the computer and I found it turn to less than 10s after I replace the new one. It is just so fast and stable. You can not ask for better!!!!

I was going to purchase a new computer and decided to try the solid state drive to see what it would do for my 6 year old Dell computer. It was amazing the speed has increased incredibly. It took a while to switch all my files to an external drive and then I used the old internal hard drive for storage of all the data that I put on Dropbox. Excellent value, actual investment probably saved me $1,000 or more for a faster processor computer.. Solid State Rocks. I'm a 64 year old guy who been computing since I bought my first Commodore 64 back in the 70's, so I'm not a neophyte when it comes to computing.

Put one of these in my new Asus 2-in-1 laptop. I would highly suggest an SSD to everyone. My laptop boots up and I'm logged into Windows 10 within less than 20 seconds. Even if you can't afford a high storage SSD, get one of the smaller ones and put it in your laptop just to run the OS and programs, and take the regular hard drive that was in your computer and put it an enclosure for 20 bucks and use that as your main storage disk drive. That way you can get the speed and benefits of running your OS and it's programs on a SSD without having to shell out a lot of money for a SSD with a ton of storage space
