This drive is a lot faster than my previous solid state, and holds quite a bit more.

I wanted to increase the speed on my Dell Tower by pairing this with the i3 processor. I must admit, it loads up and shuts down pretty quick. Overall, I am satisfied with this. HOWEVER, it does not come with the cable to connect the SSD.

Bought this product because my computer's hard drive took a dive. It was on sale and the sales associate recommended it.. So we decided to get it. Had it installed by the Geek Squad and have not had any problems with my laptop since.

Drive was a breeze to set up, and transfer my OS to it. Boot times are down to less than 20 seconds. Form factor us great, very small.

Replaced a failing HDD with this SSD. Immediately noticed a speedier start time and close time for computer as well as software programs. Easy installation even for people who may not feel confident in changing out computer parts.

This is a pretty solid purchase, it's fairly cheap compared to other similar drives; but you don't lose out on much when it comes to quality. I needed something that would work with an older SATA interface, and this did just fine.

This drive works great and is really fast too. I was able to set it up as my main C: drive and I can boot up in just a few seconds.

We picked up this drive for our sons Asus laptop that he's had since 2011. Drive installation went smooth and overall computer performance has improved dramatically, most notably with boot up/shut down, launching of applications or accessing files.

As a salary based system builder professional, reliability, best bang for performance dollar counts. With SanDisk being around along time in the industry, I get nothing but consistency and the knowledge that the product will endure a long life. This is key for me as not to receive negative feedback and upset customers or the loss of a customer/company. I would highly recommend SanDisk products for the long haul.

This is a nice quick SSD. SSDs are much better than a mechanical harddrive.

Wanted to speed up 'spare' desktop which is an older Dell XP / Pentium 4 with IDE hard drive interface. It took a little research to get the additional hardware & software to make it work but I was successful and the computer went from a 4 minute boot up time to about a minute and a half. Needed StarTech IDE to SATA adaptor (which worked as advertised) and TRIM function utility software (from Solid State Doctor). The SanDisk SSD works as expected and the sale price was the main factor in proceeding down this path.

240gb for a decent price. I like that. It's not as fast as some of the higher end drives but it's OK for a boot drive. And you take 5 of these put them in raid 1+ 0 And for a few hundy benjis you got a 1tb drive that screams.

I replaced a dying hard drive with this SSD. Everything is much faster now.

speeding up Windows 10, was working sluggish due to overwhelmed hard drive.

Worked as advertised Would buy again.Installed with no issues. J purchased as the primary drive in my rig. Installed a fresh copy of Windows 10. The installation was extremely fast. Boot time on my rig has also benefitted from the new drive.

The SSD Plus models are not the Extreme models, and the significance is enough to warrant paying more for the Extreme if you are making a gaming computer or putting in a high end workstation. Also these only have 3 year warranties and the Extremes have 10 year warranties now, so I would steer you in that direction if you need longevity. I did not, and this drive was more than adequate to upgrade the old 5400 RPM drive in an older laptop used only for email in order to get a year or 2 more life out of the unit. The system zips along now. The price savings is real, Best Buy had a good deal on the drive and will price match on top of it. Quality on SanDisk SSDs are basically second to only Samsung, and are much cheaper. I give 4 stars only because I the Extreme models perform better (those are my 5 star drives.)

Made my older Vista era laptop boot in less than 8 seconds on WIN7 Pro.
