I have a Latitude E6410 Laptop with 4GB of ram and an i5 processor. The laptop was a bit on the slow side (bought it used for $120). The old 160GB mechanical drive was super slow (Toshiba 160GB at 5400rpm). I was actually having failures here and there so I decided to upgrade to an SSD. I caught this one on sale for Labor Day. I was going to buy the $50 version that has the 120GB size but they were sold out. I noticed that the 240GB version was only $25 more and for the price you get an extra 120GB of space and and increase from 180mbs per second to a little over 400mbs read speed. For the price you really can't beat it. Anyway, I transferred this over to my laptop. Before when I had the normal HD, my boot up time from when I pushed the power button to when my windows background comes up with my icons was 53.70 seconds. After installing the SSD, my bootup time dropped to 38.94. Also, on the old HD, it would take around 2 min for skype to load up. Now as soon as the windows comes up, everything is ready go instantly. I recommend this to anyone looking to really add some get up and go to their laptop. If looking for an SSD, pay attention to the Read/Write speeds of the device..Read will affect how quick your operating system (windows) and various programs will load. Write will be the speed at which you can install a new program to your computer. Anyway, this is my review of the Sandisk Plus SSD 240GB.

Faster loading then the hard drive I had initially

I had 2 of 8 of these fail in the first 6 months, then when you try to get a warranty replacement the process is not worth the headache.

This was not as easy to install as I was told it would be. I'm still having some problems.
