I bought this SanDisk - SSD Plus 240GB Internal Serial ATA Solid State Drive to replace the hard drive on my laptop Sony SZ780. Its boot very fast and quiet. it run faster than the old hard drive. I'm very please with this purchase.

Bought 2 of these 240GB Sandisk SSD Plus 12/2015 and used one in my notebook and the other in my desktop and they work flawless. The speed improvement and noise reduction has been solid. So far no issues. Paid $59.99 each back then but no regrets. Crystal Disk Mark score was over 500Mbps Read and over 380Mbps write. Very good for the money. Recommend to anyone.

Bought this SSD HD as a replacement for an original HP laptop and it outperforms the last HD without question, Faster boot times, better responsiveness, And what I like best of all....No moving parts inside...very happy techie!

This SSD is really good value. Was going to go with the Evo 850 but went with this SanDisk instead. Read/Write speeds were slightly better on the Evo 850 but proportionally the SanDisk ended up being the better value buy. I have it currently running my second OS and its quite the improvement on the 4 HDD RAID 0 setup I have.

I have purchase two of these drives to be used in desktops (use an ssd for operating system disk, and a standard hd for data storage) and have found them to be quite capable. Excellent read/write speeds comparable to more expensive drives. Now getting ready to put one into my laptop. I expect the same results in it.

Used this SSD for upgrading my PS3. Love it. Easy set up and the PS3 is faster with better graphics.

The Sandisk SSDs are fast and reasonably priced. If you have an old computer, installing one will breathe new life into it. You'll see a noticeable increase in speed. Granted, it won't work miracles on a computer that should have been put out to pasture years ago, but for any computer made in the past 4-5 years, it will make it seem almost new again. What do you do with your old hard drive? Put it in a hard drive enclosure from Best Buy to create an external USB drive, and use it to back up all your valuable stuff!

The 5400 rpm HD from our Dell i3 laptop died, so I needed a replacement fast. BestBuy had the SanDisk SSD in the store and reviews were good. No issues installlng, comes with a plastic shim in case your laptop expects a thicker drive. This is 7mm but some spaces need 9mm, and this shim is used for that. Drive is bare beyond that though, so if on a desktop you will need the SATA power / data cables separately.

Easy to install and the price is very budget friendly. Now I can boot up Windows 10 in less than 10 seconds. If you're installing this in a desktop, remember to pick up a SATA cable to slave your old HHD and use it for storage. I ended up getting two for my laptop and desktop PC. I've had them for over 4 months now and will never go back to a mechanical drive again.

I replaced my old 1TB 5400 rpm hard drive with this one for my HP dv-7 laptop. This quad edition laptop although of high end configuration with 8GB RAM and a core-i7 had always been sluggish at the start up. After replacing with this Sandisk SSD it became really fast. You cant believe what a difference in performance. Super affordable at the Best Buy !

I purchased this SSD back in October 2015 to replace a hard drive in my Lenovo laptop. Since I have started using this SSD I haven't noticed any reduction in performance over 10 months and my 5 year old laptop is better than it was 5 years ago. Extremely happy with this purchase.

I was very disappointed with this purchase. The drive is very cheaply made as it is incased in plastic and very thin but at least they had a plastic plate adapter to bring it up to size to fit the HD Caddy. I guess i was expecting faster performance but in actuality it is pretty slow compared to other better brand drives I have purchased. I will stick with Samsung or Crucial SSD drives for any further purchase. This one will sit on the shelf for a backup.
