this is a great product for a great price $69.99 for a 240 GB solid-state drive. It's light as a feather and fits in the normal drive space inside the laptop. I noticed a great performance gain immediately and Im very pleased. For anyone that wants to replace their serial ATA hard drive with a solid-state hard drive, it is a great performance upgrade especially for the price.

Using this SSD for my system drive on a new desktop computer. Very easy installation , and it was on sale. One recommendation... if you use an SSD for your system drive and you have a large amount of RAM, set up a RAM drive and off-load temp files to the RAM drive. This will lesson your writes to the SSD which is important because of relatively lower write tolerance on SSDs.

Not as much storage but so many other advantages vs. a mechanical drive. This replaced a several year old 3.5in 1TB mechanical drive in a desktop and it was a huge improvement. Faster boot, faster open & save functions, and quieter. Does NOT come with an adapter for larger openings so make sure you can mount this in your system or buy a bracket to put it in a larger bay.

Works great in my MacBook. boots in no time at all. Well worth the price.

I got this one because it was on sale , I recover an image over it and works good , it reduce boot time for windows and great for people like me that they impatient !

These ssd's are the best, good specs and easy installs. Vast improvement in boot up time and program performance. Also, Sandisk offers software to monitor performance.

My 7+ year old Toshiba was failing, windows 10 was it's 3rd OS and it had been on 3 deployments to hot and dust filled regions. The kids had jumped it off the bed more than once, I had to hardwire the charging wires in because of the shattered port and bad battery. Finally, the hdd was at 100% usage after my win10 upgrade, I tried everything including registry edits no luck. So I bought this for an extremely reasonable price and reinstalled windows. This laptop is now faster than it ever was, quieter, and back to being my favorite despite the serious issues it has. I didn't think an SSD upgrade was that big of a deal. It's a whole new computer, 1000% faster. I thought the storage size difference would bother me. But there is plenty of free cloud storage now, don't need more than 240GB on board.

I replaced my mechanical hard drive that I use as my boot drive. I have an older Core2 Duo motherboard with SATA 1 connectors. Even at the slower SATA 1 speed of 150MB/sec, it is still over 2x faster booting into Windows and file access. I now want to upgrade my system to an i7 board with SATA 3 to take full advantage of the almost 600MB/sec transfer speed of this SSD.

Installed this drive in a 2008 Macbook Pro 15" that had a slow 5400rpm 500gb drive installed. Even though the laptop is only rated for SATA 1.5Gbps, It rejuvenated the computers performance to that of a 2012 equivalent model. I recommend this for a startup drive on any desktop or laptop that needs a performance boost, and anyone who wants seriously fast access!

Bought this to replace the 500GB HDD in a brand new Toshiba laptop. Added 16BGB of ram as well. Laptop now boots in under 5 seconds and the speed is incredible. Placed the old HD in a USB 3.0 enclosure for the extra storage. Always have good luck with SanDisk products, very dependable.
