Write speeds to the drive were decent, but slower than the specs. Though I never get the maximum speeds with any flash drive. Media plays off the flash drive with no hiccups. I've always found Sandisk flash drives to be very reliable. I recommend only purchasing them on sale.

Speed Not as Expected

When restoring an image I receive 750-950MB/s sustained transfer speed. I recently purchased a Samsung unit, also USB 3.0, and sustain 2GB/s or more with the Samsung. To be fair the Samsung unit is only 64GB compared to the Sandisk at 128GB, but that seems like a large difference regardless. Although this drive works fine, you may be better off trying a different unit if you intend to transfer large files. In my case, the fast unit is saving me over 10 minutes when restoring an image which can add up quickly when doing multiple units per day.

Great storage option
