Then I tried to get it repaired and was told it is basically unrepairable due to it’s construction. They wanted $1900 just to get the data off of it.

Great usb but poor design

The only issue is the slider for the usb c connector. Sometimes is hard to push and sometimes it will slide back thus not connecting properly.

Faulty purchase due to bad salesmanship

Posted .Hi, please be informed that these USB Drives have a retractable USB slider mechanism. The slider should lock itself when the USB connector is all the way out so that it can be easily connected to a USB port. When not in use, you can slide it back to the closed position, protecting the USB connector from any bumps and knocks that it might otherwise be subjected to. If the lock mechanism is not functioning properly, I would suggest you to please contact SanDisk Support directly at 1-866-SANDISK and we will assist you towards the best possible resolution including a possible warranty replacement if required.
Outrageous price

Hot drive

But in trying to use it the C Flash drive would get so hot that it would almost burn my fingers when I would unplug it from my iPad Pro. It would also loose what was stored on it as well. I took it back to Best Buy and exchanged it for a regular USB drive and have been very happy with it.

Flash Drive

When I got home and tried to plug it in to my computer, it would NOT fit in any of the USB ports/plug ins. So, now I have to go back and buy an adapter

Mislead Purchase

I asked an associate in the store before purchasing what was the best flash drive for my model computer. They guaranteed me it would fit my laptop. Now I’m stuck with something that I couldn’t return after 15 days of purchase.
