ISB C data sharing

I plugged it into my computer and it could not be formatted. I assumed it just wasn't seated properly, so I hit the eject button, unplugged it, and noticed it was quite warm... almost hot, which worried me. I plugged it back in, this time directly into my pc instead of my dock and made sure it was completely seated. I tried to format again. No luck. I tried once more for good measure, and still no luck. When I went to take it out again, it was EXTREMELY hot. Hot enough where now 45 minutes after the incident I can still feel where my thumb made contact with it while removing it (though there is no visible burn). I ended up returning it immediately and getting a regular USB A flash drive, which is working fine.
