I wanted a way to download from my phone a movies digital copy then watch on TV screen, since there's no internet/wi-fi at house. I don't know if you have to have net to set up or if it's cause I'm no techie, this didn't work.

Not for sure why. I’m using a iPad Pro 2020 and have a large amount of pictures taken over the years. Time will tell over using product more.

Owned for 7 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It works well for the task once you manage to insert it - but inserting collapses the extension way too easy - making it require 2 hands (or more) to insert. I tried to play mp3s off of it in a car, and had an impossibly hard time getting the extension to stay out while inserting it into the USB connector. It works with the new MacBook Pro (C connector) and my older MacBook Pro (USB). Again, my biggest complaint is the collapse in extension. Another minor, but worrisome issue is it heats up to an extremely high temperature. It gets so hot, that I worry about leaving it unattended while plugged in. I have never had a flash drive get so hot before.

The sliding lock is not strong enough to hold in position. When you plug it to the USB slot, you have to hold the lock in position.

After 2 minutes of use, it got so hot, I could barely touch it. Tried both ends, with the same overheating result. After researching online, it's a common problem. SanDisk should have done a recall on this. Returned for a refund.

Flimsy and stopped working

After a few days of use I had to return it. It starting giving me an error, not allowing me to read/write to the drive. I'm tech savvy, have had similar issues before that I could rectify, but this was not one I could fix unfortunately. It caused me to lose some important data as well.
