The slider on the side that allows you to go from regular USB to type-c doesn’t stay clicked in place. So it’s very difficult to insert in tight spaces (behind mounted TVs, etc.)

I left out of town with this and found out it definitely didn’t do this. It was a waste of money and I just threw it in one my bags when I was coming back home. I couldn’t find it when I arrived home, so I couldn’t return it. So definitely make sure your sales consultant actually knows what they are talking about when you ask them for advice. Mine was a manager and she definitely didn’t.

Then the slider that holds the part that goes in the PC started loosening. By month 4 the USB just slides (falls) in and out. Do not waste your money on this style.

But the first time I was going to use it, it broke. it won't go back. It's stuck and I can't connect it to my MacBook. Money down the drain, And as I live in Brazil, but purchased it while in the US, I can't just go back to the store and return it.

I was not able to plug in this drive along with another cable plugged into the other outlet next to it. The drive itself is too wide.
