This drive has been reliable so far, is USB3 fast as advertised. Nice size at a great price.

Almost all routers have at least one USB input, and that input can be used as a network storage receptacle. I had been eyeing the SanDisk line for just a few weeks when I saw the USB 3 (backward compatible, of course) go on sale for ... well, it was a VERY aggressive price point! As soon as I got it home and unwrapped it, breezed through the directions for anything "funny" I should know, then plugged it in. The router IMMEDIATELY recognized it and on the routers maintenance page I could even name the drive. Additionally, virtually every device connected to our home network could, also, IMMEDIATELY see the new "drive". Further, the performance is OUTSTANDING! we were lucky enough to get a router with a USB 3 socket, so we are enjoying the FULL PERFORMANCE BENEFITS OF THE DEVICE AS WELL AS THE RELIABILITY AND STABILITY ASSOCIATED WITH SANDISK PRODUCTS !!! In hindsight, I should have held out and gotten the 512GB drive; however, that is small potatoes. As time goes on we'll relegate this drive to an off-network back-up device and get the "new" 2 TB version at some point in ... the next few months!?!? What a plan !!!

Having used the SanDisk Ultra 256GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive for several months now, I'm impressed with its performance and reliability. The USB 3.0 interface provides lightning-fast data transfer speeds. I frequently transfer large files, and this flash drive significantly reduces the time spent waiting for files to copy. Whether it's HD videos, high-resolution photos, or large document folders, the transfer process is swift and seamless. With 256GB of storage, this drive holds an impressive amount of data. It's been invaluable for backup purposes, storing my extensive collection of digital photos and documents without any space issues.

Purchased the 256GB thumb drive in preparation for moving data from old PC to new PC. The speed of USB 3.0 coupled with the very large storage capacity of the thumb drive made copying data from old to new very easy and very fast. We've always trusted SanDisk for data storage devices, and this newest one continues our preference for the brand.

Many great things to say about this product. First the amazing size capacity 256GB. It's fast because it's 3.0 to transferring files is a breeze. Now, this only works if you have a 3.0 USB on the other end as well or it'll downgrade to 2.0 which isn't that bad but if you are dealing in GB size, 3.0 is the way to go. This flash drive is slim and I can put it through a lanyard for safe keep. Great item overall.

I had several external hard drives and they all costed me more than $100, they were bulk, but after 1 year, they were all dead, what a waste! Until my IT friend recommended this. The capacity is big enough for me to save even videos and lots of photos and other files, the price is much lower than the external hard drive and it will last forever!

It is fast at saving files. I wished it had a cap and didn’t slide as sometimes it slides back in when trying to plug it in. Otherwise very happy with this and the amount of storage it has.

These USB drives write and read very fast and are durable. II've continued to purchase them and Besr Buy's low price matches those other guys and their service is exemplary.

The size of the unit is JUST right and rugged enough for daily use. It does tend to heat up a bit when used in a USB 3.0 port with a significant amount of file transfer (30-50 GB) at one time. Good price for 256GB unit.

QUITE THE ITEM THAT I NEEDED TO MAKE IT EASIER TO TRANSFER AND PROTECT MY INFORMATION.

I needed a high capacity thumb drive and this one fits the bill, I had to download software updates for the electronics in my car, after struggling with a smaller drive for three hours I grabbed this on and the upgrades went through in a bout 20 minutes works great

It worked for trafering file to new computer. It used a third party site for it to work which was weird.

Sundisk drive is an excellent product and kept all my information

Sandisk has a good reputation having been available for some time. Very reliable, compact with lots of picture and video storage, it’s a go to flash drive for me.

This is a great size for me to shuttle programs, folders, files, and images from one external drive to my computer. It is easy to use, dependable and a great price for the amount of drive space! I love it!
