This works wells as a large capacity flash drive. The item itself isn't the smallest I've seen, but for the capacity it isn't too bad. I bought this because it is USB3 rather than USB2, but the copying speeds still aren't as fast as I'd like. Still, not too bad of a deal.

Using it for my parents to record video too. The storage amount and speed of device works perfectly for them.

I just love these larger storage drives because I can get ALL of my music on one drive (as long as it's mp3's or similar) ! They are also great for data storage, transferring or transporting data. It is really funny to think of my 1st computer with Windows 3.1 and the hard drive was like 500 MB's! So 256 GIG's? Well that's just fantastic and you know that there's smaller drives that will transfer data much faster with WAY more space just right there on the horizon. Technology...ain't it great?
