    I bought this drive because it was the perfect GB size, physical size and USB 3.0. What I didn't realize is that these Sandisk drives are known to overheat. This thing stops transferring (or slows to a crawl) IF you're using a USB 3.0 port. It *will* work if you're using a 2.0 but that also defeats the purpose of buying a 3.0 drive. I didn't realize this before purchasing it but, after trying to move large files (50 GB+), it was crashing/barely working. After a quick online search with keywords "Sandisk" and "Overheat," you'll find posts dedicated to these drives where people are encountering all the same problems. I'm just barely out of my return zone for BB and now have to deal with Sandisk and hope they can rectify this. However, I assume that I'll just have the exact same problem with the next drive. Again, I can't emphasize the word "overheat" enough. The metal on the drive was literally too hot to touch when I removed it from my laptop. This will not only hurt the drive but also the the USB ports on my laptop. I do not have this problem with any other external drives. BEWARE.
