Watch out when buying any of the USB drives at Best Buy. We recently bought one that was supposed to have a certain amount of gigs when we got home and put it into the computer. It was 10 gig short you’re paying full retail price when realistically you should be getting wholesale price for What you actually had purchase

The SanDisk works well on all of my laptops, not all USB flash drives work.

Cheapest name brand 256gb flash drive available. Plenty of space for now.

I keep this on my keychain, it constantly extends and I find myself pushing it back in. SanDisk makes great products in terms of chips, but this just doesn't have enough stick to the extension mechanism to make me feel confident that it won't get damaged.

Piece of garbage, the usb part falls out of the handle often, and the whole thing is made of flimsy plastic.

Hard to transfer photos onto. Not super easy to use.

Ok so far. Need adapters for USB C inputs on New Mac Pro. Too early to tell about ling tern results

Bought it for the password protection but couldn't get it to download

Only has 232 GB, All SanDisk memory sticks as less GB's that advertized!

I’m rating this as a excellent. However I was looking to use it as storage for photos from my I phone. Hadn’t figured how to do that yet.

Ok for the money i payed for it , but slow write speed... I can attest to someone else claiming that the speeds are very slow for a device that's spec'ed for USB 3.0.

i got this usb drive to move my photos and videos, and it does the job. here what i found: advantages: • very fast, much quicker than old usb 2.0, i can transfer my movies in no time. • big storage space, 256GB is enough for all my files, so much room. • the password protection is good, i can keep my private stuff safe. • it is small and easy to carry, fits in my pocket without trouble. disadvantages: • sometimes the usb drive is a bit slow to start when i plug it in, not always fast. • it feels a bit plasticky, maybe not very durable, but okay for the price. • there was no clear instruction on how to use the encryption, took me a while to figure out. overall, this usb drive is very helpful for transferring big files quickly and it is nice to have so much space. it’s not perfect, but good for the price.

Love the geek squad. I’m happy with the backup they did to this flash drive.

I had purchased 2 Sandisk flash drives and those failed within a year I ended up getting this one hopefully it holds up better

This Flash Drive can be problematic. I've purchased several of the same size. After a few uses, pushing the Drive into a computer or Adapter, the metal end-piece will slip inside the unit; doesn't catch. You then must hold on to the thumb movable part to keep the metal end extended to go into the computer or adapter. There's a little catch that doesn't catch. I've also had two of these that become "unreadable" after just a few months of use. I've taken back to the store and they cannot get them to work in their computers either. Not a dependable product.

I loaded several important files to the drive. Unfortunately the drive has some how become write protected. I did research trying to get it unwrite protected, but nothing works. I can't even reformat it to remove the data that's on it. Can't even return it because it has sensitive files on it. So stuck with a worthless USB Flash Drive.
