Purchased this to transfer files from one pc to another.

Works great for the purpose I purchased this item for.

Overall, this is your typical SanDisk flash drive. Nothing really different about this drive from all the rest, EXCEPT SanDisk's Flashback software is included. Flashback provides software-based cloud backup of the drive, so that you don't lose the contents of the drive if it gets lost, or you need to access the contents when you don't have your drive with you. Unfortunately, it relies on a piece of software that gets installed onto your machine (of course) but there's no web portal or other means to access your files other than the software. So if you have more than one machine, or you're using a shared machine, you have to install the software on every machine you have to access your files. A web-based portal to access your files would be much better. Otherwise, it's a flash drive. The USB port is retractable, and the housing is plastic, not metal, so it's probably ok for general purpose use, but be careful with how you carry it.

Great Price for 256gb flash drive. I have multiple flash drives and use them regularly. So when you can get a large capacity one for cheap I jump on it.

I am a college student and this really helps store my papers and lesson plans that I would utilize when I become a teacher so I highly recommend this.

In stead of buying hard drive memory, flash drives are holding more memory. I can keep different files on a small flash drive.

Had lots of storage but sometimes the usb will not stay out and will constantly be loose.

Does what it is supposed to at a decent good price

I plugged the flash drive into the USB port, looked at a few of the files on the drive and read them, downloaded the app on my laptop pc, registered for an account and a free 1 year of cloud storage, opened the vault application on the drive and copied all my personal files to the drive. It then copied everything that I put on the flash drive to the cloud. Pretty simple. Good way to back up all my files on my laptop.

for the sale price this item cant be beat. holds tons of pictures, files and music. will buy another.

Nice big storage space and on huge SALE compared to it's similar competitors. Slower transfer than I expected though.

This USB drive is super quick transferring files and is very responsive when you plug it in to use. The only drawback is that the Flashback software doesn't work with Chromebooks.

SanDisk has never disappointed me for flash drives. Only ones I buy.

SanDisk product is always more reliable than other cheap brands like PNY.

Just what I needed. This comes in handy for my small business.

I was advised by a Geek Squad Rep to get this Flash Drive to reduce the amount of space on my hard drive occupied by numerous files. It worked!!

It was on sale at one point, and even at full cost it's a good deal. Read and write speeds are fast, and this is a great option for backing up your files. Videos, photos, etc. You should be good with this little compact thumb drive that home on your keychain.
