I am falling behind in the technical world, but this was a very good buy in my opinion. I use it mainly for my music. I have my entire collection of it and then some other odds and ends. It is small, fast (usb 3.0) and holds a lot of information.

I was impressed at how quickly this SanDisk could copy files on my new PC. However, if you have an older PC with a 2.0 USB, it won't work nearly so fast. But if the price is right, buy it - 256GB is a massive amount of storage for a flash drive!

I got this flash drive to be able to transfer information from my old computer to my new one. It worked out great and was very fast when putting the info on the new computer via one of its usb 3.0 ports.

Good, solid thumb drive. I am constantly amazed at the small differences in performance in thumb drives. This is solid, reasonably fast, although not night and day different from other USB 3.0 drives I own. Truthfully, I usually by from a reputable manufacturer based on price - there is just not a meaningful difference for their application. No complaints.

Have used an identical flash drive for years and it has been very reliable. This on appears to also work well. No trouble with transfer speeds, no problems with access. Strongly recommend.

It's a flash drive - it works fine to move info and pics off an old unit that is too slow to use the cloud. Works as expected, has more than enough space to hold what I wanted to retrieve.
