Good price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the SanDisk Ultra SDCZ48-256GB on sale. It was a good price for the amount of storage. The write speed of the CZ48 series is a little slow with large files. There are other flash drives with significantly faster write speeds but they are cost 2-4 times as much. I 'm not concerned about the write speed because I'll use it to backup pictures at the end of the day.

Fast storage

You will not get the full advertised 256 GB of memory, and you will have to format the disk the very first time you plug it into a PC or laptop. Otherwise you'll plug in and it won't be read by the PC, especially true for the Windows 10 systems. I had to google the issue to find a workaround in Win10 which finally formats the drive in order to read most of the storage space.

Great Lil Flash Drive

It made the transfer of data from one laptop to my new one a breeze. Only gave it 4 stars because it shattered after removing from the port.

Huge Space in a Compact Package

Great flash drive

I'm not looking to get those speeds that the testers get but I was getting over 100mbps and I al very pleased with that. It's perfect if you have a smaller HDD or SSD.
