San Disk2T

The San Disk was on sale and very easy to locate. The associate was very knowledgeable and helpful with assisting me with my purchase.

This Drive is specifically for my x-plane flt sim

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The x-plane simulator can take a lot of data storage, and this hard drive, being that it is solid state, transfers data to the ram and processor, where there is no lagging at all in the flight simulation, and I can add tons of layered maps from Google Maps or Bing to make the flight more realistic.

Great for the Cost

As an SSD, it does read/write at a slower pace than more expensive ones. If very fast speed is what you need, purchase another. If standard SSD Hard drive speed is ok...then pick this one. The install was very easy. Standard SATA cable bought at Best Buy connected to the motherboard and the mounted SSD leaves just the 15-pin connector for power and you are up and running. Don't forget to initialize the drive through Disk Management.

A Very Good SSD...

I will be purchasing 3 more. These are all taking the place of regular 500Gb Hard Drives. The SSD has very fast Read/Write performance. I fully recommend.

Boots up in 15 seconds

You can keep all your information by cloning your old drives into your new one by using macrium reflect.

The speed is great!

So far the boot up speed is a lot faster and it load everything faster. So far so good. I’m glad I purchased. BB had it on sale but I price matched Amazon and got another $30 off so that was well worth waiting to do this.
